Gyuto with zebrano and smoked oak handle

This gyuto is from the batch of Bräkne-Hoby knives. The well iron is from an old horse-drawn carriage that rolled through the village. The well iron has then been forged together with nickel and 26C3 as edge steel. The knife is also etched in ferric chloride, this to bring out the different contrasts. The handle is made of zebrano and smoked oak.

The blade length is approximately 225 mm and the total length is approximately 385 mm. Height from back to heel is approximately 50 mm and the knife weighs 164 grams.

This knife is not stainless but made of carbon steel, so remember to hand wash and dry the knife thoroughly after each use.
