How are your knives made?

All knives from JH Knives & Steel are handmade by Jacob in his own workshop on the farm in Bräkne Hoby, Blekinge. Every step – from forging, hardening, grinding, shafting and finishing – is done with great care and passion for the craft.

No mass production. Every knife is unique.

Is each knife unique?

Yes. As each knife is handmade, small variations in texture, grain, and finish may occur.
This is part of the charm and proof of genuine craftsmanship.

What steel do you use?

We use carefully selected quality steels suitable for high performance, durability, and sharpness.

How should I care for my knife?

Always hand wash the knife (never dishwasher)
Dry it immediately after cleaning
Store it dry

With proper care, your knife will last for generations!

Does the knife need sharpening?

To maintain the knife's sharpness, it is often sufficient to use a leather strop or a ceramic rod initially. When this no longer provides the desired result, it's time to sharpen the knife on a whetstone or have it professionally sharpened. Remember – the most important thing is to dare to keep your knives sharp!

What is the delivery time?

As the knives are made in our own workshop, delivery times may vary depending on demand.
Stock items are delivered within 3-5 business days.

Do you ship throughout Sweden?

Yes, we deliver throughout Sweden.
For delivery outside Sweden – please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to assist you.

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Yes, you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal for stock products. The product must be unused, and you as the customer pay for the return shipping.
Please note that custom-ordered or personalized knives are not covered by the right of withdrawal.
