In our own workshop at home on the farm in Bräkne Hoby, every knife at JH Knives And Steel is born from passion, precision and respect for craftsmanship.

Behind the brand is me, Jacob – a knife maker with a genuine interest in steel, function and form. What started as a personal interest quickly grew into a craft where every detail counts. For me, knife making is not about mass production – it is about feel, quality and durability.

Crafts from scratch

Each knife is made by hand in our own workshop. From carefully selected steel, to forging, grinding, hardening and finishing – the entire process is carried out with precision and presence.

I work with small series or unique pieces, which means that each knife has its own character. The result is robust, functional tools with an expression that reflects both tradition and modern design.

Made in Blekinge

The Blekinge countryside, surrounded by forest and nature, is where inspiration for both design and function comes from. The proximity to hunting, outdoor activities and cooking in nature characterizes each product.

Making knives on the farm in Bräkne Hoby means being close to the material, the process and the customer. It is a conscious choice – to work small-scale, locally and with full control over the quality.

Philosophy

For JH Knives And Steel, a knife is more than a tool.
It is a tool that should last over time – both functionally and aesthetically.

The focus is on:

  • Carefully selected quality steel

  • Sustainable construction

  • Ergonomic design

  • Timeless aesthetics

  • Honest, small-scale manufacturing

A knife with soul

When you hold a knife from JH Knives And Steel in your hand, you are not just holding a tool – you are holding the result of hours in the workshop, careful handwork and a passion for steel.

Every knife tells a story.
And it continues with you.
